River & Trail Outdoor Company is a locally-owned outdoor equipment store located at 133 Hampton Rd in Rothesay.
At River & Trail, we want to help you live life outdoors. Sometimes you know exactly what you want and other times, you don’t know where to start. We get it! We are outdoor people and are committed to ensuring you are ready for your adventure.
Whether you need gear to hike up a mountain or walk your dog, we can help. We have a wide variety of apparel, footwear and gear to suit a multitude of activities and adventures.

Land Acknowledgement
The land on which we (River & Trail Outdoor Company) operate and utilize is the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) and Mi’kmaq peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) and Mi’kmaq Peoples first signed with the British crown in 1725. The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. We encourage all settlers to learn of the history, which is outlined here and here. We, the staff, pay respect to the Indigenous peoples of New Brunswick, past and present, and of this land.
