Local Environmental Groups

Finding solutions to Saint John's environmental challenges through outreach, restoration and research.

NB is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the permanent protection of New Brunswick’s wilderness areas. Our goal is to work cooperatively with groups, governments, industry and individuals across our great province to ensure the future survival of New Brunswick’s wilderness areas and the species they contain.

The province's leading independent voice for environmental protection. Be part of the solution!

A non-profit aimed at maintaining and restoring the natural conditions of the Kennebecasis river

New Brunswick's wildlife and natural resources are at the heart of our province’s heritage and culture. With the help of our conservation partners, the Nature Conservancy of Canada works to keep ecologically sensitive areas of the province in their natural state. They do this not only for the species found here, but also for the communities that value these places and have a connection to the land. Nature brings us together, and together we can make a difference.

We are a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to celebrate, conserve and protect New Brunswick’s natural heritage, through education, networking and collaboration.

Established in 1987, the Nature Trust of New Brunswick is a charitable land conservation organization that is responsible for conserving and stewarding more than 97 beautiful and diverse nature preserves throughout the province.

The role of the NBEN is to improve communication and co-operation among environmental groups and between these groups, government and other sectors. The NBEN is not an advocacy group and does not take positions on any issue. Rather, the NBEN provides educational opportunities for its member and associate groups and encourages the growth of the environmental movement in New Brunswick
